Dear
Sir or Madam,
We
have a nursery farm (The register number: 04/18/7)
producing vegetative and generative rootstocks for fruit trees. Our
farm is situated in central Poland in the Kujawy region.
Our main buissnes activity is the production of
vegetative rootstocks for apple and pear trees and
generative rootstocks for plum, sour cherry and cherry
trees. All vegetative rootstocks produced in our farm
are free from viruses (VF). Our rootstocks are sold in Poland and abroad
mainly in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy,
Hungary, France, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania,
Ukraine and Czech Republic.
The
nursery plants of apple tree stocks
M9 T337 and M26 come from the Netherlands and
have the Dutch health certificate which, on the basis of
biological tests, is confirmed
by the health certificate issued by the Polish National Inspectorate of Plant and Seed Protection.
The motherplants of pear tree
rootstocks: quince
A, ADAMS, BA29 and C, come from Germany and have the
German health certificate which also, on the basis of
biological tests, is confirmed by the health certificate
issued by the Polish National
Inspectorate of Plant and Seed Protection. A
substantial part in the overall farm sale is played by
the vegetative apple rootstocks of Polish origin:
P14 (VF), P16 (VF), P22 (VF) i P60 (VF). The
motherplants of those rootstocks come from the Polish High-
Quality Nursery Material Centre (OEMS) in Prusy. The
P60 i P14 apple tree rootstocks are more and more often
used in Western Europe to produce trees in containers
.
Among
generative rootstocks the most important part is
played by the virus-free Prunus Mahaleb POPIEL and also
free from viruses Prunus Wangenheim and Prunus cerasifera
AMELIA. We have our own seed
orchards of the above mentioned rootstocks.
We
expand our offer each year. In 2005 we started
reproduction of the German dwarf rootstock for
peach, apricot and nectarine tree PUMISELECT®..
Our
farm is the member of EAST
MALLING RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (EMRA).
In
2004 the Polish National
Inspectorate of Plant and Seed Protection created
around our farm fire
blight (Erwinia
Amylovora) free zone (ZONA PROTECTA - ZP) in
accordance with the Council Directive No 2000/29/EC of 8
May 2000.
